Flavored Vodka's

Does anyone have any recipes for good flavored vodkas? I tried making redskin vodka by buying a big bag of redskins from the supermarket getting a bottle of vodka pouring out a few shots and jamming around 15 unwrapped redskins in. Was hard to get fully dissolved though and as i didn't have time for it to dissolve properly of it's own accord it didn't taste that fantastic.
I have heard flavoring a bottle of vodka with skittles is also pretty popular in the states but haven't had enough time to give this one a go yet either!
