Does anyone have any recommendations on places to go out without crossing the spit bridge i am so over Manly these days it has nothing fantastic to offer and getting home is always a mission as Manly Cabs are useless! I still possess some hope some where in the Manly are can offer a good atmosphere without all the crowds and the issues.

I don't mind mind Dee Why RSL and on Saturday nights it attracts a younger crowd, for a more pub atmosphere you may want to head a bit further North and give the Surfrock at Collaroy a try. The Newport Arms is the pick of the pubs on the Northern side but it may as well be in the middle of nowhere so its a mission to get to and from.
